Writers can edit their novels on site, create new personal writing challenges, or participate in mini-events like Camp NaNoWriMo in April and July. Educators can create classroom-wide writing challenges outside of November. Each year, around 100,000 young writers and educators in over 9,000 classrooms take on the NaNoWriMo challenge.
